Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship

Changing a nation....One Child at a time

In November, 2003, God gave Pastor Gary a vision to build "Little Lambs of Lima (LLL).  In July of 2004, property was located and purchased.  In August, 2004 the first missionary work team of 24 members began construction.   Little Lambs Feeding Center was dedicated and opened in February 2005.  Beginning with 65 chiildren, today over 100 children are a part of this program.

March of 2005 brought the weekly teachinig ministry, teaching Bible classes every Saturday to the children.  Also, the Medical Clinic opened, providing medical treatment to the children and their families.  In August, 2005 Little Lambs Missionary Housing Facility opened, easily accommodating 30 missionaries.  Five rest rooms and four hot showers help to make it a joy to stay on site at LLL.  Buenos Amigos Iglesia (Good Friends) Church was dedicated in February 2006.

LLL's purpose is to teach the children a trade that will help them in their future.  "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day; teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime."   2008 began the bakery ministry, bread is baked in the bakery in the early morning hours and the children will sell the bread before going to school.  Today, the bakery is completed and is locally known and used.

Little Lambs Christian Academy (LLCA) opened in March of 2010.    LLCA is the only Christian school and the only bi-linqual school in Puente Piedra municipality.   With a staff of six teachers and nine assistance, LLCA has 176 students, enrolled.   It is cutting edge!

If you would like to be part of LLL or LLCA by sponsoring a child or by being a part of the many work teams that travel to LLL please contact GJCF Church Office
